Thank you for coming to Parent Teacher conferences. We had a great turnout and this shows your child the importance of their education. For any parents that may have missed this opportunity, please drop by any day after school next week. I would love to visit with you!

Roaring Springs reading log is due on Monday. This is a reading log of 600 additional minutes your child has read outside of school. They will be receiving a day pass at Roaring Springs for completing this task. THERE IS A DEADLINE FOR US TO SUBMIT THIS, SO PLEASE REMEMBER TO SEND THIS TO SCHOOL ON MONDAY!!

Book orders are also due on Monday, so that your child can have their books here when they return from Spring Break.

I discussed the possibility of your child performing in a mini-play next week. I will be postponing this until we return from Spring Break to allow more time to prepare. I am planning on Thursday, April 5th. I will send home a note in their red homework folders Monday, April 2nd letting you know the scheduled time and date. Thank you for being flexible and understanding that we want this to be a GREAT performance.

Homework this week is reviewing sight word spellings and reading! Listen to your child read nightly!! There are 28 sight words that we have had on our spelling tests. This week we will only be focusing on these words for spelling. Most do not follow a spelling pattern, so they will need to review these nightly. I will only score the spelling as 20 points, however, those who get all 28 correct will receive a special reward.
